Our school auditorium transformed into a hub of laughter, talent, and celebration as we observed Children’s Day. The event was a tribute to the spirit of childhood and a reminder of the bright future our students represent.
The festivities commenced on a spiritual note with a prayer service led by Sr. Mezita, invoking blessings for the well-being and success of every child. Following the prayer, Mrs. Jyothi Dsouza warmly welcomed the gathering, setting a joyful tone for the morning. To provide context to the festivities, Mrs. Priyanka shared an insightful briefing on the historical importance of the day, honoring the legacy of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
The highlight of the day was seeing the faculty in a new light. Our teachers traded their chalk and pointers for microphones and dancing shoes!
The Wishing Song: All teachers joined in harmony to dedicate a special song to the students.
Variety Entertainment: The stage came alive with high-energy dances, a humorous and thought-provoking skit, and soulful solo singing performances.
The event was graced by our esteemed leadership. Correspondent Fr. Reginald Dmello delivered a touching message, encouraging the children to dream big and stay grounded in values. Our Principal, Fr. Arun Dsouza, further enlightened the audience on why this day is a milestone in the academic calendar, emphasizing the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds.
The celebration concluded with a Prize Distribution ceremony. Students were recognized and rewarded for their achievements in various competitions held throughout the week, sparking a sense of pride and healthy competition.
