

St. Dominic’s School, Bantwal, recently bore witness to an extraordinary display of vitality and community spirit during the Parents Sports Day held on 1st November 2025. The day commenced with a soulful prayer rendered by the students, followed by a formal introduction of the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Jia Menezes, a National Level Netball Player. Her presence underscored the school’s commitment to excellence and discipline, as she addressed the gathering on the pivotal role of physical fitness and teamwork in personal development.





















The competitive spirit was palpable as parents transitioned from spectators to athletes, participating in various track and field events. The following activities showcased the enthusiasm and physical prowess of the participants:
Strength and Precision: Shot Put competitions for both Men and Women.
Speed and Coordination: Highly competitive Relay Races.
Team Dynamics: Engaging matches of Throwball (Women) and Volleyball (Men).
The Ultimate Test of Grit: A thrilling Tug of War that drew thunderous applause from the students.
Reflecting the CBSE standards for physical education and community engagement, St. Dominic’s School ensured the event was a blend of structured discipline and joyous participation. The Principal and the Correspondent addressed the assembly, emphasizing that parental involvement is the cornerstone of character building.
