Day 1: In-House Training on “Building Focused Learners”
The professional development series kicked off with a focused in-house training program centered around understanding student psychology and enhancing cognitive attention in the classroom. Ms. Bharathi Subramanyam led an interactive, day-long session focusing on practical strategies to cultivate deep attention, minimize distractions, and foster a more absorbing environment for modern learners. Teachers engaged in collaborative exercises to identify and bridge the focus gaps in daily lesson delivery.
Day 2: Session on “Empowering Educators Through Language Proficiency”
Recognizing that effective communication is the cornerstone of impactful teaching, the second day featured a specialized morning session dedicated to linguistic excellence. Ms. Raagini shared valuable insights into advancing spoken and written language skills among educators. The training emphasized soft skills, classroom management vocabulary, and nuanced communication patterns to boost teachers’ confidence and elevate the overall instructional standards of the institution.
Day 3: CBSE-COE Bangalore Capacity Building Programme on “Active Learning”

This mandatory certification drive focused heavily on shift-based modern pedagogy, transforming traditional lecture-based classrooms into dynamic hubs of student participation. Experienced CBSE resource persons Mr. Shashikumar K C and Ms. Anisha Sadotra guided participants through the theoretical frameworks and practical applications of “Active Learning.” Attendees from various schools actively mapped out peer-led activities, formative assessment structures, and collaborative problem-solving strategies to ensure compliant implementation of CBSE’s educational directives.
